A lot of new (good) things

I worked the whole saturday just for you so I hope you will like what I have done.

LiLi 2.7 has been updated to 2.7.7 (I call it "Update 7").

Portable VirtualBox is now using the latest VirtualBox 4.0.8 and is more secure.

A new Beta (2.8 Beta) is available.

Last but not least, I greatly improved the way supported Linux distributions are displayed on the Linux support matrix page.

So as usual this is a list of new Linux distributions supported by LiLi 2.7 Update 7 :

What ?!! No BackTrack 5 ? Wait, there is more.

I had to rewrite a big part of my code in order to support BackTrack 5. This is why you will need to download the latest beta if you want to be able to create a BackTrack Live USB.

LiLi 2.8 Beta is now supporting a bunch of new linux and I'm proud to say that some are exclusively support by LiLi :

• Backtrack 5 GNOME/KDE
• VMware ESXi 4.1 U1 (including ks.cfg with extended infos)
• SimplyMEPIS 11.0
• AntiX M11
• Meego 1.2 (need some feedbacks ont that one)
• CTKarch and ArchLinux variants

Support for VMware ESXi is exclusive and can be found nowhere else. You will be able to create a scripted install very easily.

The new beta also have a few new features. The biggest one is that you will have better chances of success than with any other Live USB Creator (see Readme file for technical details). I want to thank the Reboot.pro forum users for their help, especially Nuno Brito for creating a dedicated section in his forum.

What about the website update ? Have a look to the brand new "List of supported Linux" page. Distributions are sorted by name in an easy-to-use menu.

Clicking on a Linux distribution will let you review some details such as : size of ISO, name of file, MD5 hash, release date, direct link to official website, direct download link ... and more coming soon !

Note for Fedora 15 users : Persistence is working but it needs a workaround. Please the Fedora common bugs.

About OpenSUSE 11.4 support, I'm still working on it but it's a real pain in the ass.
