LiLi 2.8 : Eleventh update

new translations and refreshed list

Woah ! This one took me quite some time to release.

Did you know that Distrowatch is counting more than 700 different Linux distributions ? That means a never-ending job to update LiLi.

This new update brings support for :

  • Android x86 4.0 RC1
  • Hiren's Boot CD 15.1
  • Linux Mint 12 "Katya" (LXDE)
  • wattOS R5
  • Guadalinex 8
  • Redo Backup and Recovery 1.0.2
  • CorePlus
  • BackTrack 5 R2 KDE/GNOME
  • VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) 5.0 U1
  • IPFire 2.11 - Core 57
  • Windows 8

Yep, Android has been ported to x86 so you can test it on your PC. Be aware that it has very limited hardware support so it may not work on your computer but it's working in virtualbox.

It's been a while since I last tried to add support for Hiren's Boot CD but in the end I managed to do it. Don't use the ZIP file but the ISO file instead or it won't work.

I also fixed a bug on TinyCore and added its bigger brother CorePlus.

Guadalinex is a new one, and it has persistence enabled.

Also note the presence of Windows 8 in this list, you can use LiLi to create a USB setup of Windows 8 Consumer Preview.

New translations are also available : Tamil, Ukrainian, Greek, Romanian and Turkish (coming soon).

I updated the About page to thanks all the translaters.

Have fun,

Thibaut
